Augmedit is looking for a Technical Physician!

WHAT WE DO

Augmedit is a Dutch startup that develops highly innovative medical Augmented Reality software applications to improve surgical outcomes for patients.

We turn 2D scans into an intuitive 3D holographic experience. With these holograms, surgeons can better prepare and perform surgeries as well as educate patients, since 1 hologram is worth more than 1000 scans.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role you will be responsible for the correct and effective use of our products in the treatment process. This means you will assist new customers/users with the implementation of the software in the medical center; you will research possible new clinical applications and you will translate clinical wishes and requirements into concrete goals for the development team. You will also participate in research, carry out user tests and help to improve the software. It is a broad position in which you can express your enthusiasm and creativity.

TEAM SKILLS

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Able to work with a diverse group of individuals and styles.
• Excited for start-up culture: adaptability, occasional ambiguity, limited resources, willingness to do what is necessary to get the job done.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters degree in technical medicine / clinical technology / biomedical engineering or related academic education.
• Experience in (co-)developing new technologies.
• Affinity with 3D, Mixed Reality technologies.
• General knowledge of software programming (e.g. Python/Matlab/Unity3D).
