Within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS), the Department of Biomedical Signals and Systems (BSS) is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Professor (f/m) in the area of technical medicine, with expertise in signal analysis and physiological control systems. In this position, you will strengthen our collaboration with the Ziekenhuis Groep Twente (ZGT) in your research and contribute to teaching in the biomedical signals and systems field.
The mission of the BSS department is to enable improved diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic diseases involving e.g. the endocrine, motor and/or cardiopulmonary functions in a clinical and home/self-care setting. Our research is embedded in the Technical Medical (TechMed) Centre of the University of Twente (UT). The regional hospital Ziekenhuis Groep Twente (ZGT) is among our preferred partners in research. Our teaching contributes to the Technical Medicine and Biomedical Engineering curricula.
