The Clinical Affairs department is involved in the collection of user requirements for product development, the gathering of information with regard to the existing and future clinical treatment techniques and gathering information with regard to the Medical Devices used. To strengthen our team we are looking for a team oriented, result driven and ambitious Clinical Affairs Associate!


As our Clinical Affairs Associate, you will be part of our clinical affairs department. Your will team up with our Clinical research manager to prepare, perform and report clinical studies for our products according to applicable quality standards and guidelines. You will provide input for our strategy in the clinical development of new and existing products. You will also be responsible for  the administrative process of our clinical studies.

Your responsibilities

  • Support clinical affairs activities
  • Develop competitor intelligence in the field of clinical research
  • Support product regulatory processes when clinical issues arise
  • Contribute to R&D projects
  • Collect post-market input

Job Requirements

  • We are looking for a team player who will thrive in an entrepreneurial and technology driven business environment.
  • You have a Master or PhD degree in preferably Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Technical Medicine, or Medicine
  • Knowledge of standards, guidelines and norms for product development (ISO, MDD-/MDR- and FDA guidelines) and clinical studies (Good Clinical Practice) is essential
  • Experience in (aspects) clinical research performance required
  • Knowledge of the cardiovascular areas in which the Wellinq products are applied is an advantage
  • This position (32 – 40 hours) demands a high level of interpersonal skills, personal integrity and excellent (written and oral) communication skills in the English language
  • Recognize yourself in the Wellinq organizational competencies
